Mikor stores all data locally in your browser. No data is collected, transmitted, or shared with any third party.

Data Collection

Mikor does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:

• No analytics or telemetry
• No tracking pixels or cookies
• No user accounts or registration
• No data sent to remote servers

Data Storage

All data — your monitored URLs, CSS selectors, check schedules, change history, and settings — is stored locally in your browser using the Chrome Storage API (chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.sync). This data never leaves your device.

Network Requests

Mikor makes HTTP requests only to the URLs you explicitly choose to monitor. These requests are made directly from your browser to fetch the page content for change detection. No other network requests are made.

Permissions

Mikor requests the following browser permissions:

• alarms — schedule periodic checks
• storage — save your monitors and settings locally
• activeTab — read the current tab for element selection
• contextMenus — add "Monitor with Mikor" to the right-click menu
• notifications — show desktop alerts when changes are detected
• Host permissions (all URLs) — fetch content from any URL you choose to monitor

Third-Party Services

Mikor uses no third-party services, SDKs, or APIs.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at https://mikor.net/privacy-policy.html with a new "Last updated" date.
